Audrey & Harry Hawthorn Library & Archives (Museum of Anthropology Reading Room)

The Audrey and Harry Hawthorn Library and Archives includes a library, archives and the Oral History and Language Lab.  The library includes 12,000 books, journals, MOA staff publications, and other unique resources relating primarily to museology, Northwest Coast material culture, and world ceramics and textiles. The Archives holds records generated by MOA as well as relevant records from private individuals. No materials in the Library and Archives can be borrowed, but most can be reproduced and many can now be accessed online.

Crane Library

The service mandate of Crane Library is transcribing text and course materials for students, staff, and faculty members who require alternatives to print, as well as providing technical resources that permit independent access to information.

Geographic Information Centre

The Geographic Information Centre (GIC) offers support services for Geography undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and the general public. The holdings form a teaching, reference and research collection located in the Department of Geography.

ICICS/Computer Science Reading Room

The ICICS/CS Reading Room provides in-house information resources and assistance for Computer Science and ICICS students, faculty and researchers, as well as alumni and the general public. Resources include a current core library collection, electronic resources and course reserves for CPSC, CPEN and others.

UBC Botanical Garden Library & Archives (UBC Botanical Garden Reading Room)

The UBC Botanical Garden Reading Room (Library) houses a collection of over 3,000 books and selections from over 150 magazine, journal and periodical titles.  The Archives holds the institutional records the Garden and its volunteer supporting organization the Friends of the UBC Botanical Garden (FOGs), as well as some personal records of select botanical researchers and former Garden staff.  The Garden also holds an extensive multimedia collection.
